What is Women’s Ministry at Fountain Park Church?
We understand that God created us as relational people.
We function better when connected to both our creator
and the other people God made.
Our ministry works to balance four important relationships:
Our relationship with God
Our relationship with other women
Our relationship with our church family
Our relationship with our community and the world
Look what’s happening for the women of FPC!
A fountain of fellowship opportunities .......
Sunday nights beginning March 7 ~ Refresh!
Meet from 6 - 8 pm at the Little House for a time to share a devotional, sample yummy snacks, and work on individual projects or work together on different service projects, all while building friendships! All women are invited to come! Come when you can! Bring friends! Relax and refresh on Sunday nights!
Need more information? Check with Joy Johnson or Kelly Elinsky.
Tuesday nights beginning March 9 ~ Quench!
Meet from 7 - 8:30 pm at the church for a study of the book, “Having a Mary Spirit”, by Joanna Weaver. This is 14 week study and requires a commitment on the part of attendees to read a chapter each week and participate in discussion. After the first two weeks, the group will not receive new members. This study is for those who seek to quench their need for a deeper study with other women. Lin Plumb and Donna Yanosy are the group leaders.
Women’s Retreat at Camp Crestfield ~ Soak!
Join with women from other churches on the weekend of April 23 - 25. You can stay one night or two. This is a wonderful opportunity for the women in our congregation to get away together and soak in God’s presence. Brochures are available in the foyer. If you plan to go, please register now as rooms are bound to fill quickly. Register directly through Camp Crestfield. In addition, please sign up on the sheet in the foyer so that those going can stay connected and can plan carpools as we get closer to the date.
For The Love Of Rubber Stamping ~ Just for fun!
A fun Women’s Ministry Group that you are welcome to join as your schedule allows. If you enjoy rubber stamping or would just like to begin, this is for you!! Greeting cards and scrapbook pages are just a few ways to use rubber stamping – you can get as creative as you want to be! This group will be very informal – we will meet in the little house on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 9a.m. to 11 a.m. All you need to do is show up with a great attitude and any supplies that you might want to bring.
